'Recent Developments in the European Securitisation Market'

It’s not every day you see slides from a presentation delivered in Zagreb.   The author-presenter,  Marco Angheben, is Director of the European Securities Forum (an affiliate of SIFMA).  It offers a good primer on the European securitization market.  Note in particular a chart on the “Spectrum of Residential Structured Products” (page 24) from The Royal Bank of Scotland, which compares covered bonds to other products.  There is also a chart on the impact of Basel II.
